Amazon Exclusive: "Sneaky Pete" is set to premiere its 1st Season on January 17.
This coming January 13, Amazon's "Sneaky Pete" Season 1 will premiere in Amazon's Prime Video. The series' pilot was under the direction of Seth Gordon. It features Giovanni Ribisi and Brian Cranston.

"Sneaky Pete" pilot episode was seen and debuted in CBS on August 7, 2015. After failing to get a full series there, it captured a lot of attention from other cable networks and online streaming services. According to Deadline, Amazon Studios got hold of the project. There were several reshoots before uploading an edited and better pilot episode online.

Due to the positive response to the tweaked pilot episode of "Sneaky Pete," the series was scheduled to have a premiere in fall 2016 but the production had to be put off for a while. The reason for the delay was the change of the showrunner. While the transition had to take place, the new showrunner had to know how to take charge and continue running the show.

The change in Amazon's "Sneaky Pete" was really major since it was David Shore, the series' executive producer and showrunner who had left. He also wrote the script for the pilot episode with Bryan Cranston. The new showrunner is Graham Yost, creator of "Justified."

"Sneaky Pete" is about a con man portrayed by Giovanni Ribisi who is running away from a dangerous gangster played by Bryan Cranston. Ribisi tries to escape his past by assuming a new identity of his cellmate, Pete. According to Amazon Prime Video, Ribisi's character reunites with Pete's estranged family that is surprisingly colorful and also dysfunctional.

Amazon's "Sneaky Pete" presents a con man who's trying to save his life but found himself involve in a family living in a dangerous world just like the one he's trying to escape. Still, this is the family he might find love like he never experienced.

"Sneaky Pete's" pilot episode has gotten a lot of 4 and 5 stars from Amazon Prime members. It means the full series is something to look forward to on Amazon Prime Video.
